I am a widow, was happily married. I live in the UK, My parents, one British one Spanish, were divorced — it was messy and because of the laws at the time, it took a long time to complete. They are both remarried to people they met before the divorce was finalised.
My stepfather has been wonderful. I have some close friends who are divorced or in the process of divorcing, they confide in me. I am confused when I read replies to women in some kind of relationship to men who are not yet divorced but are separated. I am not referring to women having an affair with a man living with his wife, nor women who were the cause or a big part of a breakup, but to women who got into a relationship post the split.
